Content is king. I’m sure you’ve heard that said more than a few times in your efforts to start an online business. We’re inundated with content these days, from news sites, videos, podcasts, reports, blog posts, presentations, teleseminars, and on and on. The people that are creating the content are the people that everyone is looking to as the great keepers of information and knowledge, even if the information didn’t originally come from the aforementioned keeper.

With private label rights, or PLR, you can open a whole new world of information that you many not have had access to before. With PLR, you have the right to use the information in any way that you see fit. Change it, modify it, add to it, publish it, record it, it doesn’t matter.

I’d recommend that you not do what a great many people do, which is just take the PLR as it is and try to use it. you’ll get into trouble quickly doing this, as the exact same content will start showing up in way too many places online.

But, used properly, PLR can add more firepower to your marketing cannon, giving you greater options in content creation that you can use to drive traffic to your affiliate website.

The goal of everything you do online should be to drive people to your affiliate website, where you should have a system in place to capture their email address and market to them over and over again. you can use PLR in many ways, but here’s 4 that you can use right away to get started.

1. Create videos from PLR content and post them to youTube and other video sharing sites

In case you weren’t aware, online video is big. Really big. Hugely big. I can’t begin to explain to you how big online video is, and it’s only going to get bigger. The problem is that the vast majority of those videos are completely useless. you can use good quality PLR to create a video that can drive people to your affiliate site. Remember to include links in your video and in your video description that point back to your website.

2. Create your own podcasts from PLR content

If you’ve got a blog (and you should), you’ve got an automatic podcast producing machine. All you need to do is record the audio using your computer, upload the files, and publish. This alone can be one of the most powerful ways to drive traffic back to your affiliate site.

you now have the ability to get your information in places like iTunes where the multiple millions of iPod, iPhone, and iPod Touch owners can listen to what you have to say. With PLR content, you have a treasure trove of information to start with in your audio creation. And don’t worry about the ԛuality, it’ll get better with practice!

3. Extract portions of PLR material for posts to your own blog

This is one of the easiest ways to use your PLR content. Take a small portion of an eBook or longer report and break it down into posts for your blog. you’ll need to create a good title for each post, rich in keywords and meant to attract the attention of your readers. But with your PLR resource, the act of content creation has been made much simpler, freeing you up to do other things.

4. Create short reports to give away for free

you can string together several pieces of PLR and create a special report to give away. Inside this special report, you can talk about the affiliate products you recommend and provide links directly to the product. Or, you can insert links back to your website where people can get more information. This is a great way to build a customer base ԛuickly as you can let other bloggers and partners give away the report on their own website to their readers.

There aren’t many shortcuts in creating a successful affiliate marketing business, but with PLR you can get more leverage out of content that has already been created. Just rewrite it to your needs and use it your benefit and you’ll begin to see your business grow quickly.
